Annette Denton graduated with honors from Alamogordo High School in 1999. From there she attended New Mexico Highlands University for 2 years, where she played collegiate soccer. She transferred to the University of New Mexico in 2001 and graduated with a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She then worked at a private outpatient clinic for 18 months as a PT tech before starting PT school at UNM. She has had the opportunity to work in various clinical settings throughout her schooling, including acute care at UNMH, pediatric early intervention at La Vida Felicidad in Los Lunas, NM, Early Childhood Evaluation Program, outpatient rehabilitation at Yavapaii Regional PT in Prescott, Arizona, and outpatient rehabilitation at Langford Sports and PT in Albuquerque, NM. Volunteer experiences include UNMH, Presbyterian Hospital and Bear Canyon Physical Therapy. Annette currently enjoys many activities including playing soccer, running, and many other outdoor activities as well as reading and listening to music. She is enjoying life in Albuquerque, where she plans on making her home. |
