Judi Kil, PT Owner and Director, e-mail Judi
Judi Kil graduated With Distinction from the University of New Mexico in 1978 with a B.S. in Physical Therapy. She gained experience in the orthopedic field working for a year in an orthopedic outpatient clinic and then for 6 years working for 2 orthopedic surgeons. In 1985, she opened her own clinic called Back to Backs, which was changed to Think Back Physical Therapy 4 years later. In 1991, Judi was invited by Dr. Loubriel-Kampa to lead the physical therapy portion of a chronic pain program and continued in that position for 5 years while seeing patients at Think Back P.T. She has had a special interest in treating spine problems, but she sees patients with a variety of problems from rotator cuff issues to plantar fasciitis. The desire of 11 P.T’s around the state of New Mexico to remain in private practice and maintain their individual autonomy inspired the formation of Desert States Physical Therapy Network in 1993. Judi was involved in its formation and has remained an owner/member since that time, with a goal of facilitating private practice in our state. Judi has always enjoyed a number of outdoor activities from skiing and more recently snowboarding, to scuba diving and horseback riding. She has 3 children, 4 grandchildren, 2 horses, and always takes time for reading. Traveling with her husband and enjoying new experiences is certainly a passion. The success of Think Back Physical Therapy, celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2010, has been a particularly high point in Judi’s career. She loves working with patients and being involved in their rehab process.
