Melissa Neal hails from upstate New York and played soccer for two years at Canisius College before transferring to the University of New Mexico. She graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology. Following her undergraduate studies, Melissa attended physical therapy school at UNM, where she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2009.Recently, Melissa joined the Think Back team, bringing over 15 years of experience across various settings, including outpatient orthopedics, private practice, and both inpatient and outpatient settings at UNMH. She has also worked at Carrie Tingley Hospital and on the University of New Mexico main campus, focusing on college students and collegiate athletics.In her free time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, playing sports, bead weaving, jewelry making, and gardening.
