Annette cruz, pt, dpt and owner
Annette Cruz attended New Mexico Highlands University for two years, where she played collegiate soccer. She transferred to the University of New Mexico in 2001 and graduated with a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She then started Physical Therapy school at UNM. She has had the opportunity to work in various clinical settings throughout her schooling, including acute care at UNMH, pediatric early intervention at La Vida Felicidad in Los Lunas, NM, Early Childhood Evaluation Program, outpatient rehabilitation at Yavapaii Regional Physical Therapy in Prescott, Arizona, and outpatient rehabilitation at Langford Sports and PT in Albuquerque, NM. Annette joined the Think Back team in 2009, ensuring an ongoing focus on quality personal care. She then took over the business here at Think Back in 2015 . Annette currently enjoys many activities including playing soccer, running, and many other outdoor activities as well as reading and listening to music. She is enjoying life in Albuquerque with her husband and children, where she plans on making her home.
mark vigil, pt, dpt
Mark Vigil graduated from the University of New Mexico where he achieved his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. He then was accepted to the Midwestern University physical therapy program in Glendale, Arizona. During his education there he had clinical experiences including general outpatient services at Ideal Rehab Soma in Mesa, Arizona, a geriatric specific outpatient clinic in Surprise, Arizona, outpatient rehab at Banner Casa Grande in Casa Grande, Arizona, and lastly at Advanced Health Care of Albuquerque, a skilled nursing facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Mark joined the Think Back team in 2015 engaging fully in the ideals of personalized and compassionate care. Mark is active in his personal life with hiking, gardening, biking, running, strength training, star gazing, and attending live music events. Mark considers himself a true New Mexican and has no plans on leaving Albuquerque the city that raised him and that he loves.
jelise vega, physical therapy technician
Jelise graduated from the University of New Mexico with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. She hopes to someday pursue a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy, and will be applying to the Physical Therapy program in the near future. Jelise joined our Think Back team in 2012, and spends most of her time working with patients towards their rehabilitation goals, under the direction of our Physical Therapists. She also assists with many front office tasks and duties. Jelise is an identical twin, and a lifelong resident of New Mexico. She was born in Albuquerque and was raised on the family farm in Polvadera, New Mexico. Her hobbies include big game hunting, camping, fishing, running, playing sports and spending time with her friends and family.
gloria alires, care COORDINATOR
Gloria has been working in the medical field for more than 25 years, and is an important part of our physical therapy family. She loves the atmosphere of patient rehabilitation, and loves working with the patients. Gloria is the first smiling face you will see when you arrive at our clinic, and her goal is to make your time spent here warm, welcoming, and positive. She is always ready to answer any questions you may have regarding paperwork, scheduling, or insurance coverage. She has been married for 29 years, and enjoys spending time with her children and family.
shelli noble, billing
Shelli has lived in New Mexico for 11 years. She made the move from Toas, New Mexico to Albuquerque, New Mexico Summer of 2017, along with her two beautiful girls and husband and family dog. Shelli is also a certified Massage Therapist and has been doing massage therapy for 5 years and loves doing it! She has 3 years experience in the medical-billing field and is an important member to our Think Back team.
